Fabric Information

The highest quality and most technically advanced fabrics are still produced here in the USA. RaceReady uses only these most trusted name-brand technical fabrics. RaceReady also manufactures its apparel in the USA, utilizing the craftsmanship and quality controls that can only be achieved here.

COOLMAX®
COOLMAX® is the DuPont-certified moisture-transport fiber that is unsurpassed in providing wicking capability. The four-channel fiber helps to keep you drier and helps to maintain proper body temperature.

DRYLINE®
Dryline® fabric features a push-pull moisture transport design, drawing moisture away from your skin and pushing it to the garment surface, where it evaporates. You'll agree that the soft, stretchy feeling of the fabric makes it the most comfortable of all stretch fabrics on the market!

MicroMove®
Burlington Industries has set the standard for quality in microdenier fabrics. As used in our shorts, this soft, lightweight, breathable, fabric adds comfort to every move.

DuoDry tm
This RaceReady-inspired two-component knit fabric was introduced to our offering of Team/Club apparel in 2004.  It's light-weight and breathable.  DuoDry has outstanding wicking ability because of the push-pull fiber technology.

SUPPLEX®
The superior nylon by DuPont that is softer and lighter than standard nylon. Because it's made of finer and more numerous filaments, Supplex is also breathable, windproof, and water resistant. Water resistance can be enhanced by further finishing the fabric with DuPont Teflon®.

ThermaStat® (same as ThermoLITE)
Nothing controls body heat like ThermaStat®! ThermaStat® insulates the body from the cold and keeps it dry. Yet ThermaStat® will cool down if you get too hot - it won't overheat. The ThermaStat® fiber has wicking channels just like CoolMax®, but the fiber is hollow-core for the insulating property.

Team/Club Silk-screen Printing Information

Minimum specifications are required to achieve good print results. Please follow the instructions below. We accept camera ready art that was created on a computer.
The information below will help you prepare your artwork so that problems (or additional costs) can be avoided in preparing your film. Call us to discuss charges for design work if the following guidelines are not met.
 
Digital artwork must be submitted in accepted formats only.

• All files must be in .EPS format.
• All fonts must be converted to outlines.  (The PC language for doing this may be convert to curves)
• All colors must be converted to spot colors with correct Pantone numbers.
• Please submit files with images SIZED for printing.
• Compress large files (over 2 MB) using Stuff-it or Winzip.
• For proofing, send an additional .JPG or .PDF version to communicate color representation of the art and also shows the approximate background fabric color.

• ADOBE ILLUSTRATOR - our preferred file format. Create outlines for fonts. Save as .EPS
• FREEHAND - Convert text to paths. Save as .EPS.
• COREL DRAW - Convert text to paths. Save as .AI file.
• ADOBE PHOTOSHOP - Should be used only for photographic images, not great for type or logos.
